Anyone else annoyed by top-posting?

You know, posting your comment to a quote before the quote? This is just a minor point, I know, and not many do it. I'd just like to know if anyone else is annoyed by it, and should / could anything be done about it (other than obviously not reading such posts). It annoys me, at least.

And is there any netiquette on this, I mean how it should be done?

Minor point indeed, but hey look it like this: if we're down to complaining about that here at ENWorld, the boards can't be all bad, eh?

As for me, I like to see the quote first, but it doesn't bother me if someone puts the quoute after the reply.

I was tempted.

I think there are more annoying posting habits- like quoting an entire message to make a one line response to the last bit.

Not noting who made the original quote, which becomes a hassle in following the conversation in large posts.

Oh dear. Does it help that I'm looking down in my picture? I used to have a picture of Princess Buttercup from the movie, but someone said something that made me think they thought it was a pic of me rather than Robin Wright. So I switched it.

Since I value the good opinion of Furn, er, Sagan, I suppose I'll have to come up with a new Avatar.
