Anyone else annoyed by top-posting?

The part about looking dork, I mean. ;)

:p I wasn't offended. Even if you had been suggesting I look dorky, I wouldn't have been. My husbands eyes are the only mirror I really worry about, and I seem to be ok in that one.

And besides, I'm a geek, not a dork!:D

Today is the first time I noticed it, but it is sort of annoying when you are trying to figure out what they are responding to, of course this is such a minor thing.

I always end up with the problem that I cut and paste just the little bit I am responding too and it doesn't say who posted it and I forget that it doesn't and.........well the alternative is quoting the whole thing and sometimes it's longer than your reply. I end up doing a lot of cutting and dragging, sometimes I feel like I'm back in the high school newspaper editing.

Oh and what about all these smiley faces, it seems you can say all sorts of crazy stuff and then stick a face at the end and it's all ok.

I almost prefer top-posting, actually. If I'm following the conversation, it saves me some time. What bothers me more is quoting an entire post and then only referring to one or two lines out of it.
