Anyone else not too fond of the new stat block setup?

I saw the new stat block setup for 'making encounters easier to run' , not sure I'm too fond of it. I don't need hp blocks to check off, etc. Cripes.

I am, however, very much looking forward to some of the new adventures (demonweb, castle greyhawk, etc.).

Not a fan, but it doesn't bother me that much. I was getting into the habit of writing up things in my own stat blocks anyway. It fixes their errors and allows me toi customize things.

I don't get it. What is the point is debating stat block format? If one stat block format doesn't suit your needs, convert the creatures stats to a format you do like. That is exactly what I do, on an as nedded basis.

Idealy I buy books to save me time not create more work for me to do. If the stat blocks were different I would buy more books.

It doesn't bother me to be honest. If it helps new comers to the game thats fine by me.

Same here. Really looking forward to these.

I see how the new blocks should be useful but they really aren't to me. The edition I've played the most in is 3/3.5 so I'm really intimate with this block. The new stuff should help but I find it just gets in the way because I'm so used to it the other way.

Hmm... I don't much care fot the HP boxes to check off. Do people really write on their adventures? I would never do that, but maybe I'm weird :uhoh:

I write in them, staple stuff in them, cross things out, circle and highlight. :)

That goes for my rulebooks, too.
