Anyone else realize they'll be missing LOST to stand in line for ROTS?

My theatre has assigned seats for opening night, so I don't see any good reason other than parking concerns to leave before 11pm. Even then, I can pay a couple bucks and park 2 blocks away and walk. It's no big deal.

Plus, in my area, I've got Lost at 8pm (no big deal), Alias finale from 9-11pm (I can watch this and escape to the theatre at 11), and I'll just have to tape the Smallville finale that runs from 10-1130pm. If Alias ends up sucking, we might leave at 10 or 1030pm.

TiVo-ed and ready to go. I'm leaving in about an hour to stand in line. The theater I'm going to only has 2 screens and one of them is a digital screen.

And I work until midnights normally, so I always "miss" Lost. TiVo allows me to actually watch TV. Period.

I've got my ticket (since 4/15), but we've stood in line for seats early the last two premiers. Needed to or you'll be watching the screen from the front row with your neck craned.

That's how I saw Star Wars (later know as A New Hope). It was so cool to have my head back resting on the seat back as that big-ass spaceship kept on flying overhead.

No kidding. I couldn't live without my PVR (what you Yanks call a TiVo). I work a 9-5, and I still watch almost nothing live. It's nice watching shows when you fell like it and not watching commericials unless you really want to.

It's amazing, really. I don't think I could watch TV without my DVR. The pausing of live TV (great for sports) has spoiled me for life. I love not being a slave to viewing times, too. :)
