D&D General Anyone ever run a campaign based on the Deryni (Book series by Katherine Kurtz)

I rummaged through my old sketches from past campaigns and found this unfinished (but I trust evocative) drawing of Tanhumeth the Kalashtar missionary contacting Ryuden the Githzerai swordmage by long-distance telepathy. I think the Thrane stuff in Eberron could be used to tell a similar story to the conflict between the church and magic in the Deryni series.
