Anyone go to Origins and get to sit in on AGoT game, or maybe see some excerpts from the DLE?
I went to Origins and played it. I saw alot of the d20 version of the book in PDF.
From what I saw of the PDF it looks awsome. I was playing on about 3 hours sleep so it all seems a little fuzzy but here is what I can remember:
I played a 5th level Maester who had 20 hit points, no armor, and only a dagger for a weapon.
When some one rolls to hit you, you roll your defense, which is a D20 + your Armor class IIRC.
Armor acts much like DR when you are hit.
There is a Shock stat, If you take more damage then your shock value in a single hit you make a Fort Save and if you fail you are basically in shock and can't act, I beleive its for a number of rounds equal to how much you failed your save by. If you take damage from a weapon that causes you to bleed you continue to lose hit points every round.
The classes in our group were a Maester, Noble, Man-at-arms, hunter, and one other that escapes me right now.
The adventure was pretty good too. I won't go into any of it here in case they run the same thing at GenCon.
That's about all I can remember. Two of the people in our group never read any of the books, but when we were done they were both eager to go get a copy when they got home.
