Anyone excited for DCC RPG?

I know I am. I just want to know if it will be something that will be brought up on threads or something I will be alone in...
but then again, I play tested it and had fun, so I hope it does decent.

I'm pretty much waiting for it to be reviewed here.

But I will probably not buy it, as I do not buy many games I will not play, and I am pretty much att D&D.

Not at all.

It looks so randomly lethal, which is not what I want in a RPG... and it has some very questionable design decisions, which - from my initial read of the beta - will give it big trouble in expanding past level 5.

It's definitely a very different aesthetic than 4E. I'm sure that there will be people who play and enjoy both, but I imagine that's a pretty skinny overlap in the Venn Diagram.

I'm looking on it, for the most part, as something worth plundering for other games, from a creator whose sensibilities I know, trust and like.
