Anyone getting a Vita?

And in case you have no idea what that is, it's basically the Playstation Portable 2, which came out this week (for people who pre-ordered it) and will have a full launch next week.

I mostly want one to play PSP games on (it has two analog sticks, as opposed to one analog nub, and the second stick can be mapped to emulate the face buttons for games that used those to simulate a second stick), but the current price is much too much for just that, so I'll be waiting a while.

Nope.

I have 2 PSP1's. Neither has seen use in over 2 years.

My wife and I have iPhones. She had gotten an iPod Touch before that, and when she did, the PSP started gathering dust.

While I despise the touchpad control stick concept the iThings try to do, fact is, carrying an iThing around is easier and thus makes it more likely to see use.

I'm thinking about it as I am a big fan of the Wipeout series. I'll have to check my local Gamestop to see if they have demo Vitas to try out.
