Anyone going to GenCon SoCal?

After reading about the great time had at Indy, I was wondering if anyone was planning on going to GenCon SoCal. Or are y'all saving all your energy for next year?

Thinking about it but way to far and the wrong time of the year.

Probably. I wanted to go last year, but I had just moved crosscountry and cash was a little tight at the time. I should be able to make it this time 'round, though.

I dunno if I can handle the 15 minute drive to Anaheim, but with some careful planning and saving up for gas, I may just be able to pull it off.

I would love to go but it won't happen this year. I envision one year hitting the "Big 4", Winter Fantasy, Origins, GenCon Indy, and SoCal, but it hasn't been in the cards so far. I have hit Origins and Indy the past two years and I plan to continue that trend.

Oh and me calling them the Big 4 was not intended to bring about a debate about what cons are the best. Those are the 4 I would go to if I could.

One would think that living 10 minutes away would mean that I would have been there every year, but it's not true. I plan on making it this year, though.
Heck, the game store I occasionally visit has a tram that takes people to and from the convention center during Gen Con SoCal.

What's the date on it this year? I may be spending all my capital with the wife convincing her we should go to BlizzCon, but this would be a nice addition for me.

Thinking about it. Will probably go to either GCSC or Winter Fantasy (the RPGA-only con in Washington DC in February).
