D&D 5E Anyone going to use D&D Next for the upcoming season of D&D Encounters?

Just wondering if anyone apart from me was planning on running the next season of D&D Encounters with the D&D Next ruleset?

I'm just curious, Why would you do that?

I thought the point of encounters is you could walk into any place running it and just sit down a play the rules are all the same.

I got prepared to go to one and they excitedly told me "We're running encounters, but with pathfinder."

I tried asking them how that even worked what part of it was Encounters after they had to convert all the encounters, but I just never could understand their reasoning.

Yes, the store where I run has multiple tables. One DM will run with 4e, but I will be running using D&D Next ruleset.

My table is planning on doing DnD Next, I haven't heard what the other two tables are planning yet.

My apologies, that's completely different than what I had encountered..

In that case if there was any store within 50 miles of me doing encounters I'd be up for either one.
