Anyone gotten the new Dragon Mag yet?

My question is, have your Dragons been roughed up more than usual by the time you got them recently?

I switched my mailing address a few months ago. Ever since, my Dragons have been in progressively worse shape each month. Did Paizo switch distributors or is my new post office to blame?

Here's my question: What is the quality of the contents like?

The last shop here in town stopped carrying them and I want the DM screen, but if it and the contents all suck, then I'm not interested in driving 30-45 minutes to pick one up.

I am a subscriber in NoVA and I still have not received it.

I was away on business most of last week and before I left I emailed Paizo's Customer Service and was told Subscribers in the US should get by Friday the 25th of July. It is now Wednesday, July 30th, and nada!

This issue would be my second issue since I subscribed to both Dungeon and Dragon. (No issues with Dungeon and receiving 99 and 100 on time.) I am starting to get a little apprehensive and might be thinking of going back to just purchasing off the rack.

I live in NoVA too. I received mine on the 12th. Several days after I received my 3.5 books from Wal-mart.

I've had a subscription to both magazines for a while. I've had the magazines not show up once. I called Paizo and two weeks later I had the magazine in hand.

Call them.

I haven't received my Dragon in the post, I've spoken to the subscription people at Paizo, and they say they don't know. This isn't good...

You can live in the same city and receive Dragon and Dungeon magazines at different times.

I got my Dragon 310 one week later than my friend did. I normally get it the day after he does. (This is by subscription.)

Peace and smiles :)

It struck me as really repetitive. They played the "multiclass combo" thing to death. I thought they were cute at first, but I am really not seeing the point anymore.

I don't know if the answer to your question is answered in another thread, but I'll give you my take on the current issue.

The DM's Screen is decent. I'd rather not have the pictures of the miniatures that are due out in the fall along the bottom, and it's a shame they don't have a table with the weapons from the PHB, but all-in-all it's a decent screen.

As for the contents of the mag.... I really like them. The variant core classes are pretty nice, the PrCs are decent (to me, PrC in general are usually pretty hit-or-miss anyway), and the flavor text and comparisons they have for the multiclass setups are pretty decently put together.

All in all it hooked me into buying the next two issues, at least, to get their treatment of the spell-casting classes as well as the "evil" ones.

I can agree with that. Liked the screen tho and the alternte fighters were kinda cool.
