Sure. Incidentally, David wrote ABC in reply to a thread on RPGnet where myself and several other posters cited specific things that we'd like to see in a 'non-standard' setting - I think that he did a pretty good job of fulfilling the qualifier 'non-standard'. Note that while humanoid characters are possible in ABC, they are by no means assumed or required.

Oh, and that reminds me - S.John Ross's Uresia has rules for playing slimes and oozes as PCs, so there's the off chance that it might work in a pinch (just take that one concept and build an entire setting around it).
 

I briefly considered running a campaign set on the Illithid homeworld where aberration are the norm and things like humanoids and animals are strange creatures from beyond the depths of space. I think mainly I justed wanted an excuse to have flumphs as a PC race.
