Anyone use the Generic Classes

I'm just wondering if anyne has used the Generic Classes rules to create a character and how it went.

Personally, I haven't used them, but a brazilian publisher just released an OGL game titled Primeira Aventura (First Adventure) that uses the generic classes (it presents the archetypes of the PHB and how to build them), with just 5 levels. Very basic play for RPG newbies.

Do you mean the generic classes from UA or the generic classes from d20 Modern and Grim Tales?

I really like the Grim Tales class system - highly customizable, tons of options, and almost no need for prestige classes or advanced classes.
