Anything but D&D

Seriously, does anyone here besides me play anything else? I've got four game stores where I live and can't find so much as one other player for anything that isn't D&D.
D&D has been the 400 pound gorilla for the last fifty years. The only serious challengers I can think of have been Vampire the Masquerade and Pathfinder. Maybe Daggerheart is the third? I've been fortunate enough to have a decent group willing to play other games for about fifteen years now. But I remember the lean years when it seemed like D&D was the only game in town.

I've been running a D&D game for the last year and we're wrapping the campaign up shortly. Our next game is some weird game I keep forgetting the name of but it sounds fun. After that we're playing Delta Green. Woot!

Happy birthday to me. I'm 63. It's been six years since I've gamed either as a player or GM.
Happy (belated) birthday! I'm not that much younger, and I'm wondering if I'll still be gaming when I hit my 60s. I did run a one shot at a game store game day back in 2024 and one of the players was a nice woman in her early 70s. Gives me hope for the future.
