Anything odd happen to you on Halloween?

On Halloween no, but this morning while I waited with my son for his school bus a young man in his twenties came by wearing nothing but a pair of briefs and carrying the gauze remnants of a mummy costume along with a mask.

The poor guy was shivering like crazy as it was only 12 above zero (F).

Wow, he got drunk and ended up in an awkward situation.....

I discovered that I share the same birthday with Eric Noah.

As mentioned in a previous post.

That morning the Gas Company did some work, thus they had to turn the Gas to our House off.

Then, they forgot to record down in their system that they turned it off.

Then, they didn't turn it back on (as that could result in an Explosion, that is about the only thing they did right).

Then, they forgot to leave a note, telling us to call the Gas Company to arrange a time to get it turned back on.

After I got home and noticed the Furnace Powering Up for an hour, I called the Gas company.

They said they have somebody right out. Two Hours Passed.

My wife calls the Gas Company (as my ability to noy use 4 letters words had elasped when the Thermostat hit 50).

They FORGOT to log the service request I'd put in. I believe my cursing in the background about my visible breath & what I was going to do if our pipes froze finally provided the motivation required, as five mintues after hanging up, the Nat Gas Truck Arrived.

I have dealt with the Gas company on Numerous Occasions. Anything resembling politness has always resulted in failure. Only be being the biggest bleep in the world have I EVER gotten a response from those idiots.

I went to see The Decemberists in Northampton, MA. It was amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing! The best Halloween I have ever had in my entire twenty-one years of life (thus far).

Vraille I think I would start looking for a new gas company. I don't know if that is possible in your area.

I went to a halloween concert at my school with my girlfriend, which was quite cool.
