Dr. Zoom First Post Jul 13, 2002 #4 Have the npc take a 5 foot step away from the pc, then fire. The 5 foot step does not provoke an AoO and he is no longer threatened by the pc so he can fire without provoking an AoO (unless the pc has reach, that is).
