Also note that if an enemy comes within 5' of you and you try to shoot at him, HE'll get an AoO against YOU (since using a ranged weapon provokes and AoO).
Don't want to sidetrack, but would character A in the following situation get an AoO?
Character B has a bow and readied an action to shoot character A as he comes around the corner (going from A to A). Since using a ranged weapon provokes an AoO, would A get that AoO (just before B shoots him with his bow)?

What happens when you forget the walls. Say for some obscure reason, B has readied an action to shoot the first person to come within 10' of him. It just so happens that A is the first person to approach, and that he wields a ranged weapon.
Would A get an AoO vs. B before his readied action?

Because you can only take an AoO if someone provokes an AoO in an area that you threaten. Range weapons are considered to be *not* threatening an area.
