That's a great looking mini, but I agree that Reaper has been making decent female minis for quite some time. Reaper has been the only line my wife will even look at for her characters, now it looks like there may be another.

i have some older minis not in chainmail bikinis and not with biggumms.

but it is true they are few and far between.

heck find me a female gnome from ages past....

it was worse than a needle in a haystack. you had to make/reform your own.

This thread is funny to me, because the scantily-clad female minis don't bother me at all (I'm a girl, BTW). What really bothers me is the lack of variety in minis.

I love Reaper, but let's pick on them for just a minute. Just for fun, do a search for male wizards on Reaper's web site and count how many of them are old men with long beards. Now, do a search for female wizards and see how many of them are hot young things. I guess no one plays a hot young male wizard these days and forget about old females ones.

Granted they're getting better and I do buy minis from a lot of different companies, but sometimes it's a challenge to get a mini you really like.

I love Reaper too, but I completely agree, and was just commenting on that last night to my friend. My brother plays a 28 year old male wizard in my game, and we had to settle for a bald guy.

Indeed, there were one or two in the Grenadier AD&D beginner set I bought back in the early '80s.
