Apocalypse is at hand

I love Reaper too, but I completely agree, and was just commenting on that last night to my friend. My brother plays a 28 year old male wizard in my game, and we had to settle for a bald guy.
It's especially funny, seeing as, in D&D at least, your arcane types aren't going to start the game any older than their 30's, and almost no campaign lasts, in-game, long enough for them to become the traditonal wizened old coots. :)

:) Exactly. In one campaign, we're playing students at a Hogwarts-like magical college. Our characters are 18 years old. I had to get real creative.

Some of those are GREAT. Especially the new one in the greens.

(Course I much prefer the scantily clad Ice Queen-- wait, what was this thread about again?)

uhhh ummmm.... some do. ;)

for certain magic-users it takes a darn long time to learn/research spells. and even longer to find the material components to try what they have written. and even longer to get them to work.... ;)

Well, I didn't say there weren't any, I just said there weren't many. ;)

I hadn't seen their new "figure finder" search - that's pretty cool. I just use the regular ol' search box most of the time, so having something to narrow down searches is handy.

And the young male wizard "green" has been released. I nabbed it for the "hogwarts" campaign. It has an almost Harry Potter look to it: that staff looks suspiciously like a broom.

And going wildly off topic here, does anyone else have a weakness for kobolds? It's difficult to tell for sure, but I think the Kobold Champion mini previewed on Wizards' site is going to be great. I'm gonna have to pick up one of these guys:
