Appraisals

Is there a place where I can go get my D&D books appraised? I have a MASSIVE 2nd Ed collection along with some 1st Ed Advanced. Thinking on insuring it... you know... incase the Christmas Tree decides to light my house on fire.

Perhaps in a couple of days I'll photo them all and post them on here... for nostalgic purposes.

You might try looking on ebay or amazon for used D&D books and see what kind of prices they are going for.

I thought about the e-bay thing. Wasn't sure if there was anything easier or more accurate. Would hate to have done it "the hard way" if there were more accurate and efficient ways available. Thank you!

Put the list on the Acaeum's appraisal subforum. Then follow their advice. (If you want to put the lot on ebay they'll probably tell you to build small themed lots and only put a few choice items up alone)

Or you can send the list to Nobleknight games at nobleknight@nobleknight.com. They'll buy the whole lot, but they'll give you a lot less per item.

If you want to trade/sell them via forums, post the lists on the acaeum's classifieds subforum, here on enworld and perhaps dragonsfoot.

You may want to reconsider letting an arsonist Christmas Tree into your house...

It's the wife. She doesn't believe me. If I push the issue any further, it's divorce. But I keep getting those calls at work. Like Ray Stevens, he chuckles at me saying, "Soon I'll be in your home, and 'bye-bye' to all your paper products."
