[April] What are you watching?

I've seen it.
I suppose it's better than the last one. I disliked the corny dialogue and to a lesser extent the hackneyed action sequences but the action was nifty and cool enough in the first hour and a half that it had me thinking it was a fun action packed popcorn flicked. Things, however, got so ridiculous from the middle on that I thought I was watching an action version of Austin Powers. It wouldn't have been entirely out of place at that point if Cobra Commander came from the shadows twirling a ghost mustache and saying: "I'll stop the attack if you give me...one million dollars".
I get to go the movies for free, even Imax, but if I had paid 15 euros for this movie I'd probably be a bit miffed.
As for what I'm watching tonight. The season finale of the Walking Dead and the season premiere of Game of Thrones.
I've also started watching the boxed set of the Godfather Trilogy after it had been sitting in my kabinet for the past three and a half years. I can't believe I waited this long. What a great movie the first one is. When I get some time I'll watch the other two.
I'm gonna see about making this the beginning of watching the thirty movies or so that I bought but never watched.

On TV, I started watching 'Real Humans', a Swedish series about 'Hubots', i.e. human-like robots that start to develop emotions and 'real' intelligence. It reminded me favourably of Blade Runner at least regarding the topics that it explores. It's set in the near future, though, and is more of a drama than an action series.
