Arcane Hierophant

Anyone figure out what is the correction for this class? Problem is that the text of the class specifically refers to a non-druid ranger/wizard build. At the same time it has a prerequisite of trackless step which rangers do not get. Any ideas?
If the prereq's are correct, then the example is incorrect. Either way errata. So which is it?

Maybe a little more info, like where does this PrC appear?

The class is indeed the Arcane Hierophant, from the Races of the Wild I believe. The writeup specifically describes a Ranger/Wizard and it came out before scouts anyways. Any ideas now?

Races of the Wild came out before Complete Adventurer? Are you sure?

And I wouldn't be surprised if the sample character is wrong.

I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time in this thread. I have neither of the books myself anyways, so I can't check. Apparently the class is so unpopular that no one really cares what the error might be anyways eh?

As IcyCool says. Examples are often wrong. There are many sample characters for Prestige Classes (for example, a 6th-level Dwarf Paladin cannot become a Knight Protecter as it requires 4 feats), who could not qualify the prerequisites. And usually, WotC never issue errata for those samples when the main rules are right.
