Apparently the class is so unpopular that no one really cares what the error might be anyways eh?

More likely, using it with rangers instead of druids is so utterly suboptimal that no one's ever bothered trying to make one. It's great for druid/wizards, not so much for ranger/wizards.

My guess is that the trackless step was a revison made after they wrote the text (Which happens, look at the Invisable Blade). I don't see a reason why to take the class as a ranger/wizard anyway, since several of the powers don't stack quite right (Wildshape bonuses are useless for example) and you need to be a fairly high ranger to begin with (To cast 2nd leve divine spells.)
