Arcanis and Paridigm Concepts?

I was browsing through the Dragon Annual, and I have decided that, though I love the Wheel of Time, my favorite article in there is on the Ss'ressen, by Paradigm Concepts. I love the write-up, and the race seems very well done, if perhaps a little overpowered. (I'd give it an ECL +1, but... that's neither here nor there.) Anyway, I took a look at their site and saw that their first several products have been out for a while, but I've not heard of them except for this one article - no news on the main page, no one ever bringing them up. Has anyone looked over their products (or, even better, played a game in their world)? Any opinions? Is it worth ordering?

Now, I'd tried it with the setting name in the title, but by the time it got to the bottom of the second page I thought maybe it'd do better without any info... hey, worth a shot, right?

Anyway - to answer your question - I'm in Swanton, a good 90 miles or so from Montpelier, though my aunt lives in there... a goodly distance away. Probably won't be here much longer, though - I'm planning on heading off to a college in New York rather soon...

Arcanis: Shattered Empires *thumbs up*

I have Spear of the Loghin. I can honestly say I like the feel of the world. I do think Terr, if you're interested, this is world that should be tried out.

I have the Codex Arcanis, and have played in a couple of their scenarios. Overall, I like the flavor of their world, and it is one of the better campaign settings out there. However, their proofreading is fairly sloppy, and the codex has a few dozen errors. Also, some of the rule design is questionable, and seems to have not been fully thought out.

edit: BTW, the world is Arcanis. Arcanum is a computer game, so you might want to change the title
