Hmm... judging by that cover, it seems they're trying to compete with Avalanche Press for the "d20 Cheesecake Award".

Well, let me say this then. Christian Gossett has some credibility behind his work. His comic (The Red Star) is pretty well received and innovative. And, if you have not heard of it, then at least you've probably seen Darth Maul's double-bladed lightsaber in "Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace". That was Christian Gossett's design / creation as well.

Of course, that doesn't mean this will be a great and imaginative product. It could in fact suck. I'm just curious if anyone's ever seen it, and can comment on it.

I got it

Yeah I have the product, it's not that bad.
24 NPC's that are all quite unique. Plenty of background information and motivation support, as well as a nifty adventure hook for each one. cover art is kind of silly but the interior art is, as one of my players said "Well worth the 13 bucks."
Couple of new magic feats as well as spells included.

I have this book.

Some very nice NPCs. Several of them use custom races without giving us the rules to make characters of those races, and one uses a very strange way to simulate multiple personalities. But it does work.

The cover is not in the Avalanche style.
I say that because unlike Avalanche the cover is relevant to the product. The pixie on the cover is one of the NPCs inside and she makes sense like that.

Avalanche's cheese has no place on the nature of products they're doing. This book's cheese is entierely fitting to the book. Which makes me all for it.
