Probably worth keeping in mind that this is a spin-off thread, with even Lowkey noting that how in the original thread the OP began by firing shots against 4e.

So maybe I have a legitimate reason to say that Oofta is speaking from ignorance and assuming things based off his own words and the fact that he evidently didn't read mine. Because you know what precipitated all this? Me just pointing out that this was a spin-off thread and the OP was not just thread did not come from nothing. I haven't quarreled with you in this thread so far FrogReaver so I don't know why you are so eager to needlessly start something now over something that can easily be negated by showing the bare minimum of good faith when reading my posts. Bare minimum. That's all I ask. Can you please give me that much?

I'm assuming that the OP stated

I said in another thread I'd put some at will first level 4e powers and a list of classes to explain my confusion with the meme that 4e powers are similar between classes. ...

He then goes on to explain how the details are different so therefore they are not the same. Fair enough.

I, along with others, chimed in to explain what I meant when/if I said powers were "samey".

That's it. An opinion. He goes on to discuss why he thought that and gives some justification. But then it spiraled into the inevitable people explaining why they don't like 4E being flamed by people who did like it.

Oh, and yes. I admit I can't read the mind of the OP or why he thought it was so important to start yet another thread.

Well you accused me of assuming things. I was just explaining things from my perspective.

I more-or-less followed the original thread, I don't see how the originating post could have been construed as "firing shots at 4E".

It was just one more example of the type of hyperbole and overreaction I see on every thread related to 4E.
