D&D General Are the 5.5 (or whatever) classes/races/monsters/etc better than 5.0?

I think that people who "won't switch" may be doing/saying so for a variety of reasons, some more nuanced than others.

For example I'm "not switching". By this I mean 2 things
1: wait and see
2: I have 2 campaigns that won't end till 2025. I'm not switching ruleset 3/4 of the way through!

There is not "rush" for me to switch.
