Aye, me too. I have been in a backwards looking mood for the last couple of years now. The other endeavor that I admire greatly is the Basic Fantasy RPG rules. sometimes, if I close my browser, restart it, THEN the WOTC forums work, which suggests ot me it's not just a simple server fault, but something they've done that's interacting with your browser...if see what I mean?

As a WizO over there I can say that it isn't something we're enjoying either. I believe that it has to do with changing some things in preparation for D&D Insider, but even we haven't gotten an official answer. We're just supposed to report bugs as we find them.

That's okay, it's not your fault.
However, as others have said, it certainly doesn't inspire confidence.
Neither does the fact that they have not redesigned their site for ages, even though the current one is really bad.
I was expecting a nice site redesign with the online mags. Instead, they are simply linked in tiny text links in those tiny scrolling content boxes they use. Ugh. Horrible design.
If they are trying to be a leader in an online initiative, they are failing. They give the appearance of constantly playing catch-up, and I find it hard to believe they will ever be ahead of the game.
