Thanks for the sour persimmons, cousin.
Burning Empires, based on the Iron Empires graphic novels by Christopher Moeller, might fit the bill.
But unlike Rifts, it might be enjoyable.Torg might be stretching it. Like Rifts, Earth is invaded by multiple interdimensional forces, each one changing the laws of physics in the area of the planet they control. Not really a traditional alien invasion like War of the Worlds though.
Invasion from Arion Games. I’ve never looked at it but it’s out there. It’s fully SWADE I believe.Other than that I’m struggling to find an example of alien invasion for Savage Worlds, but that would be super easy to do with the tools it provides.
It's plagued with some of the same problems the original Rifts is. Namely, balance. I participated in the Savage Rifts Kickstarter and ended up quite disappointed when I ran my first campaign. There is an official Savage Worlds implementation of Rifts, if that makes a difference for you.
Their first plot point campaign, Evernight, is a bog standard fantasy world that is invaded by aliens.Necessary Evil is a variation on this, in that it’s a supers world featuring an alien invasion. Other than that I’m struggling to find an example of alien invasion for Savage Worlds, but that would be super easy to do with the tools it provides.
Not a fan of SW. I'm not actually looking for a campaign, just wondering if anyone had produced a game in the genre that wasn't supers or occult. I have zero interest in the supers genre in any form, and I'm familiar with the occult invasions. Although other than CoC, that aspect has not produced any lasting games. But I guess CoC doesn't leave a lot of room unused. There is an official Savage Worlds implementation of Rifts, if that makes a difference for you.
