Are there any ECL +0 races with a + to charisma?

I'd swear that I've seen one, but if so I'm blanking. Can anyone think of a +0 race that gives a charisma bonus?

I had half a suspision there's one in the XPH... but don't have it to hand and really can't remember - Dromite possibly?

I guess you could take an Old version of any race. -ve's to physical stats, but +2 to all the mental ones. Coupled with some method of stopping the aging process it could work - steal the Timeless Body of a Druid or Monk?

Edit: I'm sure one of the many elf racial variants must have it. The Purty Elf perhaps?

Star Elf from Unapproachable East has +2 to Cha.

This is not the answer you're looking for (belongs in House Rules), *but*: the Glimmerfolk, as originally conceived, were ECL +0 and had a +2 to Cha (and an effective -2 to Con). Dragon Magazine changed that before printing it, but I posted this version in a thread in House Rules. You can do a search for "Glimmerfolk", can't you? As far as I know, I can't - so I'm unable to identify the thread (even though I started it).

I'd be very interested in your opinions. I never did get much feedback on my Plane of Radiance article in Dragon #321.

Forgotten Realms, either Unapproachable East or Races of Faerun: Star Elf. +2 Charisma, -2 Con, [Extraplanar] subtype, preferred class bard, their weapons and armor count as Ghost Touch at night.

The "spark" template from Dragon magazine also gives +2 charisma, plus a few other things, and has a LA of 0.

In Arthurian adventures, all elves are +2 chr, -2 str. And...all arcane magic is Chr based! Mind you, elves as pc's at all is a dm call in this game world.

I vaguely recall that there was a faun race in the Greek gods section of Deities and Demigods which might have a +2 to Charisma. I don't have the book with me, though.

The Dromite does have a bonus to Charisma (-2 str, -2 wis, +2 chr) but they have a level adjustment of +1.

If your DM is willing to work with you, you can modify a common race as per DMG3.5 Pg 171 If you followed the chart on 173, you would gain a +2 to your charisma but suffer a negative 2 to Intelligence OR Wisdom.
