Are there healing surges in Pathfinder? I created a character using a online generator and it gave me 3 healing surges. Where can this info be found?

No. Pathfinder clerics can channel energy and create a burst which heals friends, but there are no "healing surges" as defined in 4E.

If you are interested in using healing surges in 3.5/PF, then I'd suggest taking a look at the Reserve Points system in Unearthed Arcana. It's all OGL, so it should be available online at D20SRD.org

If you are interested in a pseudo-skill challenge system for use with 3.5/PF, then I'd suggest taking a look at what Trailblazer has done, or use the Complex Skill checks from Unearthed Arcana.

I've house rule them in. Each player gets a number of surges equal to 5 + Con mod per day. Each surge heals d6 + level, or d6 + level x2 with a DC 15 healing check outside of combat. Players can also spend a standard action once per combat to spend a surge plus they get +2 to AC, Fort, Ref, and Will saves.

If a player is unconscious, then someone can make a DC 15 Heal check and then the unconscious player can spend a normal surge.

It's working out pretty well, especially since the group doesn't have a cleric.

Hyrum.

Instead of 'healing surges', the characters can carry around one-time use 'healing sticks'. Mention in PHB 2 (3.5) or the Unearthed Arcance (3.5)

Better than carrying potiions. Can applied to any injury or near death moments.

My group usually splits treasure equal to number of players +1 party share. From the party share we buy things like wands of cure (light/moderate/serious) wands and any encounter gear (like silver sheen, potions of water breathing, ect.).

Someone mentioned trailblazer. More specificly is the '15 minute adventure day'. might want to look into that idea too.
