There are books and products that will get a 4e update

Exemplars of Evil
Elder Evils
Dragons of Eberron
Eberron City of Stormreach
Desert of Desolation DDM

We haven't heard anything about these since last GenCon, when we were told they were in development. They were advertised in these products as having additional material in D&D Insider (which was to be a 4E update, as mentioned above).

Are these ever going to see the light of day? Have we heard anything since last August?

Yea, I was wondering about this too. I have these books and I would love to have them updated, since the reason I bought Exemplars of Evil and Elder Evils was because of the upcoming 4e conversion.

Indeed, I have been waiting to get those two until the update appears (I do have the two Eberron books).

The other thing I was wondering about was the "4E update" to Desert of Desolation. Was that the update to DDM 2.0 or the RPG stats to 4E.

DDM unfortunately.

Though put me down as a BIG proponent of a 4e treatment.

I have been considering grabbing some of my miniatures, creating a set of stats for them, and eventually posting them online. Haven't had the time yet.

Has anyone heard anything about this since GenCon?

With the very fast pace with which WotC is releasing new product (both books and DDI content) I think it is unlikely that they have the time and the resources for updating old material.

Last I heard from Scott on these boards - around Chrimbo - was that most of the work had been done and it was waiting on layout or editing or some small, overworked, dept.

Hopefully they will see this thread and give an update!!
