In the "Are we sick of XXX yet", there was always an option "kinda, but they still have a place".

That would have been my answer.

(PS: For starting poll, you have to use "Post Reply" or "Go Advanced" rather than "Post Quick Reply". It takes you to a screen where you have a tiny little checkbox entitled "Post a poll" or "Yes, I want to post a poll" or something like that. Check it. After posting your thread, you'll be magically transported to the land of poll creation, and your life will never be the same again.)
