Ah, the irony. Not that I'm trying to start something; I just think it's funny that both of those comments appear in the same post. Personally, although it's fun to bait folks who are needlessly confrontational, at the end of the day, it really doesn't accomplish anything at all to "argue" with these kinds of people. They won't listen to anything you say, and vice versa, and the only thing that happens is a lot of time is wasted, and everyone involved is angry and pissed off afterwards. I try not to let myself get dragged into pointless "arguments" about anything else, I don't know why I would about this either.

When I was younger, I used to like getting into religious debates with folks, but I've since realized that I liked it for the adrenaline thrill of laying the smackdown on someone. I'd like to think I've grown out of that now.

I've been abused online plenty for being Christian. Not so much here, though, at least, but I suspect only because religion tends to get threads locked down pretty quickly.
