There we go.

Country in a big way.

Although I have lived in the city, a year in Atlanta, GA, and 7 years in Ottawa, Ontario.

Lets see grew up in a suburb that boarderd the inner city, the public schools were very city.
some summers spent on grandparents OK cattle ranch.
My family became weekend farmers - horses, sheep, many, many dogs.
They retired and moved there as soon as I left home, collage summers were spent doing farmwork. Lived in a few small midwest small towns, then moved back into the city proper.
Now living in suburbia.

So suburban, but with many stops along the way.

Is this or is this not accurate?

Very accurate.

The map is a satellite photo of the area stolen from Google, and then the pointers were added by yours truly and are pretty much dead-on.

I live on a 200-acre piece of land in the middle of nowhere. The nearest population centre is Vankleek Hill, home of one traffic light and 1,800 persons.

The highway winding along the lower right hand quadrant of the map is the TransCanada, however, and links me to both Ottawa and Montreal as needed, with only a one-hour drive. The house proper is far from the road, however... we are about a mile down a small highway, then 3 miles down a dirt road, then another half mile of lane through forest and swamp before you can see the house.

First, this forum needs a freakin' sticky that tells us that there are to be no polls here.
Secondly, I'm half City half Country.
Actually, if there really *is* a rule against polls in this forum, all it takes is for an admin to check (or maybe uncheck) one box in the forum permissions. If they haven't done that, they have no room whatsoever for complaint. :p

I grew up in the country. As a child I depopulated an entire pond of frogs one summer with my b-b gun. It was a large pond too.

I now live in the city, much to the elation of frogs everywhere.
