Yes, quite happy with Savage Worlds (SW), thank you. It really does everything I want to do with ease of preparation & play. It's ridiculous. There are many SW games that I still want to run (or run into).
I'm also still quite happy with 3e, too. There are several d20 games that I would love to run, but there also is much temptation to Savage them. I just have to decide if I want the conversion work with SW or the general work with d20. That's a pretty great "problem" to have.
After loving the new Gamma World, I wanted to like 4e. We played it a bit. I even watched a bunch of Chris Perkins videos that were awesome 4e games. I got a couple of modules, and looked at Essentials; but it just didn't take. I think the increased power curve and standardization put me off.
I am curious about 5e and want it to be great so that the game stays alive, even if I don't get into it. It's pretty ambitious to try to incorporate all the older editions, and I think it would be great if they can do it. Something keeping robust character options with simpler DMing chores would be great, like a Basic d20. Pre-painted minis are always a plus, too.
Also, I likely will buy a reprint 1e DMG even though I have no intention of playing that game again. I have my PHB, but I would like to read that DMG again just for fun. I don't think I owned a 1e DMG back in the day, so a lot of it will be new to me.
