PF, Savage Worlds, and V:tM. Relatively happy with each, though I always love to homebrew and tweak.

5E will be interesting to look at, but I certainly don't feel like I need it.

I'm currently playing 3.5; I would be playing Pathfinder if I had my will, though I'm not sure why, besides all the cool Pathfinder material I have and the inclination to use the newest and greatest. And it's very useful to have everything on the web, not just the small SRD section.

Ultimately, however, I keep looking for a D&D that's a simpler 3.x variant. I want unlimited multiclassing, I want unified XP, I don't want an OD&D or AD&D variant. I don't four dozen books with interlocking feats and prestige classes and class variants, and I don't want forty dozen boosts that only stack when and only apply when and have to be added here and there.

HackMaster. Best game I've ever played. Read the QuickStart Guide here for free.

The PHB is due to be sent off for printing tomorrow; barring tsunami/earthquake/customs fiascoes it should be available in time for con season. If you pre-order, you get the otherwise-$40 pdf for free, and yes, it's the best PHB I've ever read.

Mostly. I love vast swathes of 4e, but the things that annoy me really annoy me. Our monthly Golden Age MnM3 game was (for me) also a little more rules-friendly when it was MnM2.

But hey, that's splitting hairs. My gaming life is pretty excellent right now. I'm also having a fantastic time playing one-shots of many games (Savage Worlds the other week, Leverage tonight, Paranoia in 2 weeks, Ashen Stars after that) and playtesting A Game That Must Not Be Named by running B1: In Search of the Unknown.

I'm happy with the games I'm currently playing (Dresden Files RPG, D&D 4e and Call of Cthulhu*), but I feel there's a fairly strong upward trend in RPG design, so new games are always welcome. I'd love to get a group together for Marvel Heroic Roleplaying, for instance, and I'm still interested in giving WHFR 3e a shot.

* I'm not happy with Call of Cthulhu/BRP as a system, but that game is run by the best GM I've ever played with, which more than makes up for the largely inoffensive if uninteresting gameplay. :)

Yes, quite happy with Savage Worlds (SW), thank you. It really does everything I want to do with ease of preparation & play. It's ridiculous. There are many SW games that I still want to run (or run into).

I'm also still quite happy with 3e, too. There are several d20 games that I would love to run, but there also is much temptation to Savage them. I just have to decide if I want the conversion work with SW or the general work with d20. That's a pretty great "problem" to have.

After loving the new Gamma World, I wanted to like 4e. We played it a bit. I even watched a bunch of Chris Perkins videos that were awesome 4e games. I got a couple of modules, and looked at Essentials; but it just didn't take. I think the increased power curve and standardization put me off.

I am curious about 5e and want it to be great so that the game stays alive, even if I don't get into it. It's pretty ambitious to try to incorporate all the older editions, and I think it would be great if they can do it. Something keeping robust character options with simpler DMing chores would be great, like a Basic d20. Pre-painted minis are always a plus, too.

Also, I likely will buy a reprint 1e DMG even though I have no intention of playing that game again. I have my PHB, but I would like to read that DMG again just for fun. I don't think I owned a 1e DMG back in the day, so a lot of it will be new to me.

I am happy with the game (GURPS) I'm playing, but it's not D&D.

I'm running a D&D 4E game, and I enjoy running it, but getting to the point of enjoyment has been a product of house rules and modifications. I do not believe I am part of the target audience for 5th Edition, so continuing to tweak 4th to get what I want seems to be my best bet for when I'm playing D&D.

I am happy with my chosen system. I'd like some good scifi/horror rules too for same system. There are rules, but those weren't IMO that good. Problem is that I don't really know what I am looking for. I don't want to change basic system when I switch the cosmos with same characters. Well, not always. Used to do that more but my time is more limited.
