I am happy running a game every other week and don't think that at this time in my life I could do it any more often - though ideally I would love the option of playing every week for short spurts.

I have not been in a second game in years. While I would love to play in a game, I just don't see how I could have the time. I am not big on playing just a few hours in the evening and two campaigns would eat up the weekends.

Our gaming group has always had a sporadic schedule as we typically send around a schedule to find a common date everyone can get together. For a long time (the group has been together for a little over 6 years) we were managing almost two games a month, but recently we've only been averaging a game a month. In the last four months, however, we've been able to manage two marathon games. We've started at around noon, and ended around midnight/1am each time. Those sessions almost make up for our infrequent game times.

I'm trying to get my group to run roughly every-other week at this point. I would love to then also play in something on the other weeks, but that's not happening at the moment.

The holiday season has thrown a monkey wrench in our usual schedule of 1/week gaming, but I'd prefer 1/week AND one weekend day per month, or around that.

Cheers, -- N

I have one face to face game each week with my family and two to 3 on line games using SKYPE/Maptools, 3 to 4 hours each. Played a pick up game of Warhammer last night which we will be finishing on Sunday.

So I game about as much as I can handle. If I wanted I could find an online game for every day of the week, but unfortunately I cannot handle gaming that much.

It makes it a lot easier since I stay home, in the presence of my family. Its more like I am playing a computer game or X-box on line for a few hours. Team Play, since we talk to each other.

Given the listed options, Completely Satisfied is closest to my correct answer. I play in a good weekly D&D game and run a (hopefully good) bi-weekly Champions game, so I'm getting tons of gaming in. The only thing I'd like to change is to have a bit more opportunity for experimentation with other games and genres. Neither group is very open to new or different stuff, so that's the one negative (and a pretty minor one as such things go).

I run a PbP game here on ENWorld, but I haven't played face-to-face in (calculating, calculating ...) 15 years. I would love to continue my PbP game, as it gives me the required flexibility, but I would also jump at the chance to join (or even run) a 3.5 or Pathfinder game in person.

The problem is that it is real difficult to find groups here (UK, just outside London), and seemingly more so with the current fractured state of gamer preference. The chance of me finding 4 other adults who could spare the same block of hours (probably at night on a weekend) every week or two, and who also all wanted to play Pathfinder or 3.5e would be very, very slim.

Ho hum. Woe is me!

On line gaming with SKYPE/Maptools. I telling you, once you get comfortable with it, its great. Over all equal with face to face when trade offs are taken into account. I actually prefer it, but thats because I would have to travel an hour to two hours to have a face to face game outside of my family. Plus my disability is much easier to deal with at home.

I game every week (and for a while, it was twice a week), so I'm pretty satisfied regarding frequency. I *would* like to play more often, though... none of my players seem to want to take on the DM role, so it may be a while before that happens.
