On the issue of kickers...

Our commissioner got rid of kickers three years ago. Basically, he said, "It's either me, or the kickers." And the rest of us, being fundamentally lazy (since the role of the commish is unpaid and unloved) agreed to this powerplay.

We all thought it was a stupid idea. However .... honestly? We did not miss them at all. It's a better game without kickers. IMO.

We all thought it was a stupid idea. However .... honestly? We did not miss them at all. It's a better game without kickers. IMO.

We kept kickers as a sort of wild card. Its defense/special teams we dropped becasue we couldnt agree on scoring. A lot of folks wanted only positive scoring no matter how bad the D was. I couldnt live with that!

We went kicker-less this year in favor of an extra bench slot (from 3 to 4). Not gonna miss 'em.

Super flex?

We only added a regular flex slot two seasons ago. I filled it last year with David Montgomery, which was nice. Super flex is interesting... I'd have to see what the traditionally unloved QBs (we have two QB slots, so the bench/waiver wire QBs are of dubious quality) produce point-wise compare to the unloved TE/RB/WR out there.
