Wow... tale of two halves...Apparently we are all more ready than McCarthy.....
In other news, that DJ moore 4th quarter crunch saved me this week in one league!

NFC West pretty deceptive. All those teams could easily be 0-2. Then again, I dont really see any dominate team besides Bills and Ravens yet. Probably a byproduct of weeks 1-3 being the new preseason. GB, as much as I hate to say it, is actually looking pretty solid. So what's the over/under on non-divisional losses for the NFC West teams this year? I've got eight, maybe?
Cards play Green Bay, which is one of the losses I accounted for. But the bulk the NFC West's non-division games come from the AFC South and NFC South. I can see the Bucs getting a split (or maybe more) out of it but everyone else? A team or two might catch the elusive "Dr. Jekyll" versions of TLaw or Stroud and give up a loss. NFC West could be like the NFC North last season; the toughest division in the league (that, let's be honest, subsequently get every playoff team bounced from the Divisional Round)NFC West pretty deceptive. I think it's tough to get a read on the NFC South.
The Bucs are 2-0, but I'd argue that they should get better in terms of talent as the season goes on (they are missing their All-Pro OL as well as their #2 and #3 WRs, among others, and they are all coming back). But they still don't have a great pass D, and I don't see that changing much.
The Falcons are 1-1, but I honestly can't tell you if they are any good. Seriously. Played the Bucs tough (but at home, when the Bucs were at their weakest) and just crushed the Vikings (but, um, the Vikings .... apologies to most of the people here). Is Penix a rising star surrounded by some of the best skill position players in the league, or are the Falcons looking at the 6-8 win zone? No idea.
The Saints are 0-2, but are actually a better 0-2 than I thought they'd be? Then again, Spencer Rattler. That pretty much sums it up I guess.
....the Panthers are a dumpster fire.
As for the AFC South ... also not sure. Texans have an amazing defensive line and good D, but I have no idea what is going on with the offense. The Jags look noticeably improved. The Titans ... eh, okay, rookie QB and arguably the worst coach in the league.
But did anyone see the Colts doing this? I didn't. I've heard some good after-the-fact explanations, but this has to be better than even the most optimistic Colts fan was dreaming of.
I'd say both are likely to be the worst divisions in their conferences, but better than they have been ... actually, no. I take that back.
My prediction- AFC East is the worst division. You have the Bills, and nothing else. In the NFC? Yeah, the NFC will be the worst, but better than it has been.
