D&D 5E Are you using 3d6 apply as rolled and if so can you share your experience?

Heroic doesn't necessarily mean super hero. Indy was heroic in his actions and attitude.

That was just illustrating our differences of perspective.

However since this is about stats I felt it was apropos using this example because Captain America is clearly moving around with higher stats.

Both are fighting the same WW2 bad guys. Indy is in a race to the treasure frequently outgunned and outnumbered. Cap is an elite strike force where physical conflict is almost a foregone conclusion.

True but I wouldn't put Indy at straight average stats either. I see him as highly intelligent and has good dex and con. He doesn't have straight 18's like Capt but he's far from average.

I use 2d6+4, in order, with a minimum highest stat of 14. (You can also reroll one con die)
