D&D 5E Arena of War - Chapter 1: In Character

The small wound opened in Drek's flesh seems to invigorate him, as he gives the goblin a wide, toothy grin. Surprisingly, the half-orc then drops his greataxe in favor of two small handaxes. The closest goblin is the first to feel the sharpened blade, and then Drek dashes northward to engage the small mob there.

OOC: Actions: Drop greataxe, draw two handaxes Grin maniacally Attack closest goblin Move to F6 Bonus action to attack another goblin Attack rolls, respectively: 1d20+6=13, 1d20+6=14 Damage rolls, respectively: 1d6+6=8, 1d6+2=8

Drek's newly drawn axe blades slice and dice and two goblins are no more (Kills 4).

A G4 goblin moves in and finally damages the dwarf. The goblins cackle gleefully.

3 Goblins attack the elf and two connect solidly. His confidence appears shattered as his wounds begin to mount up.

3 Goblins attack Drek and each connect. (1 damage, 3 damage, 3 damage = 7 total after resistance).

Valya glares daggers at the elf as he does exactly what she'd been trying to avoid and hauls more goblins to her side.

"So nice to see you," she growls wryly. "But I wasn't expecting guests. I'll just see them off, shall I?"

The wizard darts out from behind the elf's back , spewing yet more fire as she goes and washing it over the goblins.

"I can't do this all day, you know," Valya adds darkly. "Lets try to keep them clear from now on."

(OOC - Move two squares to the right, which doesn't incur OA because she's not leaving the threatened area, and one more Burning Hands on those three! As of now she has just one 2nd level spell slot left. Good thing I've been insanely lucky on my damage rolls so far...knock on wood)

Silverback trots forward at Cade's urging to attack the leftmost of the two goblins standing near the center of the arena. After ripping another goblin to shreds with his bite, Cade and Silverback decide to stay where the are to deter the lone goblin from moving towards the wizard girl or the elf archer.

-Attack Action: Cade makes Silverback do another melee bite attack (w/ advantage still) 1d20+6=18, 1d20+6=8
-Hit AC 18, damage= 2d4+4=10 which should kill the goblin on the left of the two alone in the center of arena floor.

OOC: 2 attacks, Handaxe +6 (1d20+6=19, 1d20+6=21) Damage, respectively: 1d6+6=7, 1d6+2=4

PC Slot: Valya incinerates 3 more goblins (11 kills).

PC Slot: Artyom finishes off another goblin (2 kills).

Goblins G1 miss Drek and the dwarf.

PC Slot: The Dwarf slays another goblin (4 kills).

Silverback trots forward at Cade's urging to attack the leftmost of the two goblins standing near the center of the arena. After ripping another goblin to shreds with his bite, Cade and Silverback decide to stay where the are to deter the lone goblin from moving towards the wizard girl or the elf archer. (4 kills)

The other G2 goblin facing Cade hits him with his shortsword (3 damage). A G2 goblin misses the dwarf.

The elf, back to relying on his bow, fires two shots and 2 goblins fall near the dwarf clearing him a path of escape. (Wow +2 to attack for archers is nice). The elf states "Thanks for the helpful hands wizard but it worked out just as I planned. (6 kills).

Drek swings his axes wildly at two of the three goblins surrounding him. One falls to his blade and the other is wounded. (5 kills)

The G3/G4 goblins retaliate. They don't even come close to hitting the half-orc.

A G4 goblin connects solidly with the dwarf dealing some damage. He does not seem very hurt.
