• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

Argent's Happy Happy Go Go game! Reopened. Need 2 to 3 players.

The Game is a foot (well not really at foot. that would be kind of sick.)

The group of adventurers stand in the throne room of the King of Rainbow Magic. The entire room is made of finest opal with black and white tapestries depicting the king and his beautiful daughter Radiana. There are over 50 people in attendence all chearing you on to victory over the evil Emporer Slovenly.
The King sits on his throne looking like a Santa Claus imposter in black velvet and a sash of mitheral chain colored in every color of the rainbow.
He He I welcome you to my beautiful Kingdom. You stalwart heros are needed to rescue my little princess Radiana. If the pictures on the tapestries are any indication the princess is anything but little. (she seems to have that "defies gravity" look that many female cartoons have.) 3 days ago the Mean and nasty Ogre Mage called Emporer Slovenly stole her from her bedroom in the tallest tower of my beloved opal palace. I give you this quest. Find my daughter and save my kingdom. I will direct you as best I can and give each of you one of my royal coins. One of his knights gives each of you a glowing coin. These were made by Radiana herself. it is her magical power to make these from thin air. Now I will open a portal to her bed chambers. Nothing has been moved or touched, and hopefuly you will be able to find my precious daughter.
A portal looking like a raindow bent in on itself opens up. (any questions for the King?)

QUESTOR SPEAKS

The Elf stood looking thoughtful, some Great Ponderance upon his Mind...was it the Search for the Perfect Note? Nay, that Age Old Elven Fable did not interest Questor. Perhaps the plight of the Grey Elves, their numbers dwindling with every passing Century, Nope. The Slaying of the Dragon that would eventually show it's Ugly Head to him at some point down the road..a well-placed shot, guided by a small bird should do the trick, right? Nay. Questor pondered that most Important of Decisions.
"Hmm, I wonder if I should start off with my yellow fletched arrows, they do match my Cap-Feather...then again, the Green Ones complement my Eyes...Hmm...Perhaps the Blue Ones, maybe, just maybe..." Questor raised his head and looked at the King,Your daughter wouldn't happen to have Blue Eyes, would she? That would look good if I found her and I just 'happened' to have the proper Flecthing, what a Noble Sight I'd be then!"

Questor frowned and rubbed his chin in thought.
Might we start this Quest a few days hence, it may take some time to refletch arrows to match her Eyes and Hair...
OoC:Tries a Diplomacy check to sway the King to hear 'common sense' -2 to the Check, BTW :D

"Whee hee hee hee!" a cheerful slightly high-pitched voice echoes from where a tiny little figure is swinging upside down from one of the torche brackets on the wall. All that's visible is a skinny pale legs, some tiny rather blocky-looking blue shoes...the rest of the figure is swathed in robes and cloak about as bright and colorful as the King's. Entirely swathed, as in right about now it just looks like a big ball of rainbow hanging on to dear life by two spindly legs.

"Oh don't be sad now, King! Don't be sad at all!" The figure continues to swing back and forth and what looks like arms go out to the side to make it swing faster and higher. "Hanhp and friends will bring back the big princess, we will!"

"Fear not, good elf Questor," proclaimed a beautiful human woman, one with an air of duty and glory about her.

"Your arrows do verily match thine own eyes, and the Princess needs rescuing!! Gwaelin Moonbrooke, for one, does not intend to keep her waiting - she could be held by a green dragon in a swamp cave for Light's sake!! Let us be off."

If there are no objections from her party, Gwaelin steps across the rainbow "bridge."

OOC: I really hope someone else here played the old NES Dragon Warrior games... somebody's gotta get my jokes!! :)

The halfling dressed in nice blue robes adorned with golden starts stepped through the portal as the others were talking. You just never know what might lay behind that door that needed to be 'saved'.
