Okay, there's an old and obscure term for a double-headed axe. (It's referenced somewhere in Keep on the Borderlands, IIRC, but damned if I can remember where.) I think the word starts with an "L," but I could be mistaken.

Does anyone know what the hell I'm talking about? I'm going nuts over this...

Nope, not what I'm thinking of. A lochaber axe is more of a pole-arm; this is a much more obscure term.
