armor spikes and grappling

armor spikes say they do 1d6 points of piercing damage on a successful grapple. if i were a gladiator with the ability to "make them bleed" and enchanted the spikes with the wounding enchantment, would i do 1d6 + strength bonus plus 2 bleeding wounds with every successful grappling attack?
can anyone think of other mean things i could do with this combination? the idea here is to hold the opponent while they are damaged and/or slowly bleed to death.

yes, but could i do that during a grapple? they lose their dex bonus but not to me.

Hmm, can you feint during a grapple? Don't really think so. Catch him flatfooted (my favorite grappling tactic), then it works.

how is it morbid to let a man bleed to death while you hold him as opposed to "valiantly" hacking each other to pieces with both of you ending up either dead or severely wounded?
i personally think it would add a comforting effect to the poor bastard's death if he was held the whole time he was dying. don't you?

The morbidity probably comes from the fact that he bleeds to death all over you. You're guaranteed to be totally covered in gore after every fight.

I'd also say that you can feint during a grapple. Getting someone off balance is pretty much a fundamental part of almost every grappling art.
