Ascetic feats

Bourbon and Dice
Are there any other Ascetic feats besides those in The Complete Adventurer? I could really use an Ascetic Warrior feat to make a good combination of fighter and monk without saccrificing a good portion of my monk abilities.

Thank you.

Um, to be honest, I think the Ascetic and Devoted feats were intended to allow you to do otherwise weird or impossible multiclasses.

Which is the entire reason why I went to the trouble of making a Paladin/Barbarian Devoted feat, to be honest. Paladins don't have to be knights in shining armor, after all.

many of the new feats involved in the newer complete books are just 'rule breakers'. Just a convienient way for individuals to bend or warp the logical rules to make the illogical characters work.

Your feat hopefully allows lawful barbarians to rage? ;)

logical rules? illogical characters?? THat's funny. :\

So, what is so illogical about a Paladin Monk? Both are relgios oriented, both are martial in design...seem to gotohether pretty well.

I said 'many' not all. Some combinations are logical, like the paladin monk.

So, then what is illogical about a Paladin Ranger? A Monk Sorcerer? I can go through all the ones if you like until I get answers. There are only what 7 combos here.

Nothing is illogical about the class combo's. But does stacking of levels for special abilities really need to be there? Why should a Paladin's level mean anything to his Ranger Level in determining special abilities.... Like I said, just convienient ways to 'powergame' a character. I just have the opinion that it is not really necessary, even if you allow the class combo's in question... which I like (Paladin/Monk, Pal/Ranger, etc.)

all they are doing is making an ability that would become useless useful. And it is at the cost of a feat so it is not like they are getting these abilities for free.
