Asgard 8 delayed

Owing to scheduling problems with our layout guy, the fact that I'm stuck studying for exams, and overall my rotten luck this past week, Asgard magazine will be delayed for at least another week. It is my great hope that we'll be able to get it out before Christmas, but if that's going to happen, I'm probably going to have to find a new person to handle the layout, since our normal layout guy, Duncan, is working on a project he actually gets paid for. :)

If any pdf layout designers would like to help out, please post here and send me an email. You will be praised by all if you help out!

Ryan,

I hope I didn't hold things up. I've just been waiting to hear back from you, as you requested in your last email. Anything more I can do to help, just let me know. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about pdf layout :(

Keep me posted,

Jay

Not your fault at all, Jay. I've just been . . . um, bad off. Personal business and all. Anyway, I was just unable to get any work done on Asgard. Jay, if you could drop a line to Mark@creativemountaingames.com, introducing yourself, that would help. Also, since I won't be free until Monday, could you do some editing work on the files I sent you, to pretty them up? I'll help as I can, but I have tons of college work to finish first. Sorry.

But yes, talk to Mark, and if you can get most of the files edited and prettied up by Monday night, we might be able to get it out on time. :)

I think I have all the art people volunteered to do, but I've been too busy to really keep track. *crosses fingers*

Well I can always help out on a regular basis, but not right now :( . I have a dealine myself on the 18th of December and we havn't even gotten our final layout done yet LOL (luckily the code for this website project is 75% done so I'm not too worried).

But if you need help after the 18th I can always help out mate.

Ryan,

Thanks for the bump. I guess I wasn't paying attention :) I'll give the articles a last going over and email Mark (probably first thing in the am, but definitely by the pm). Do you want me to email you the edited files first or is there some place I should upload them? Do I have everything that needs editing? Is Palatino alright, cuz I don't have the Palatino Linotype font that you used (or maybe that's what my Word substituted)? Should we just email each other and stop posting these questions in the thread? Will I ever stop asking questions? How many question marks can I fit in one paragraph?

Ok, I'll stop now. Or will I?

Jay?

Maybe you missed my offer...maybe you think I meant art. But I can do the Layout pretty much now. I've just finished d20zine's 3rd issue and have time. As of now. Unless you've found someone else...
