Ashin's Commission: The Great Escape!

(OOC: Alright, cool. It's hard to remember some of the stuff that the second McGuffin that the BBEG has does (the first McGuffin was expended, so I don't need to remember it). It's also based on where she is in the room, so it gets more complicated for me from that too. But complicated is fun! If it didn't make me think, I wouldn't be as entertained ;))

Michael's a little confused by what Zaeryl said, but he works out the lie lady has worked a lie on them.
That makes it especially important to get over and smite her friends before they can tell more lies.

If Michael can charge one of the non Afflicted he will do so and risk the attack of opportunity. If he can't he will attack the Afflicted he's in melee with.
He's confused about where he is, when he is, and where the bad guys are when, so we'll let the GM tell us what dice we need to roll to attack what thing.

*Michael cannot charge the normal people (they hadn't moved yet on his turn), so he attacks the Afflicted next to him and hits it hard.*

(OOC: 24 Damage)

*Then Ironwolf charges and destroys it utterly in a needlessly-powerful display of devastation.*

(OOC: Hulgyr now)

ooc: How many are standing and wheer are they located?
Hulgyr attacks the remaining afflicted that is next to him.

ooc: attack 22, damage: 27 rolls are here
Is the bless also dispelled? I didn't add it in this attack roll.
Then he moves to ? (depending on where the other afflicted are).

(OOC: For some reason I thought that Burst had an area that wasn't actually a hidden targets entry in disguise and that a Dispel needed to include the centre point of the Bless in order to get rid of it. But looking at it, you are right--I have to roll a Dispel check. And of course, since Mystic Theurges have low caster level compared to enemies, Hulgyr did lose his Bless, but others still have theirs)

*Hulgyr finishes off his Afflicted. He could move back towards the casters of forward towards one of the three regular people from the back of the room. He can reach neither in one move.*

(OOC: I'll just skip forward a bit and let you pick for him next time you're on)

*The one remaining Afflicted attacks Zaeryl three times, but all of its attacks fail to connect.*

*Then there is a slight chanting of a mellifluous woman's voice from above--many, including Eternity, Zaeryl, and Almayce, recognise it as Dispel Magic. Suddenly, Eternity is back to her normal shape, Almayce loses his Mage Armour (his buffs were Mage Armour and Bless, right? I can't remember any others right now off the top of my head), and Zaeryl curses.*

"Daughter of a dzrhan! She didn't have to retreat--she just dispelled the Touchsight!"

*There is a slight sound of flapping wings.*

"Quickly, did anyone hear her well enough to give us a general area for an area Dispel?"

(OOC: I rolled for everyone--and Michael rolled a 20, which makes him the only one who rolled enough to give a general area. Of course, communicating that effectively may still be a challenge for him! He can, of course, speak now, as usual for speaking.

It's Eternity, Zaeryl, and Almayce's turns)

(OOC: Yes he can. By their own design, one is in charge range from Michael, another from Hulgyr. Ironwolf is just a bit too far to charge any of them because of his stunted movement.

Of course, it is only Michael and the casters' turn right now, so the reference to Hulgyr and Ironwolf is moot)

I think Michael goes after the casters. Do I need to wait for my initiative to shout "Up there! By the pointy rocks!" or can I do that as one of those new-fangled swift action thingys?
