When pointing towards objects, of course. At Disney World, employees are instructed to use two fingers, or their entire hand when pointing for the guests. Using one finger is considered rude in many cultures.

I have no idea how it started, but I have a habit of pointing with index and pinky. Maybe it's to avoid the rude-pointing thing.

I also have an unfortunate unconscious habit, when teaching, of using my middle finger to indicate corrections. Which hasn't caused any problems yet, but I occasionally worry about offending someone standing behind me...

Not sure yet. I want to play in your campaign but as of right now, I'm not sure what I want to be. Probably a spellcaster of some sort. Or maybe a female half orc or dwarf. I don't like playing humans. I get to play a human every day IRL.

And Djeta, the two little lambs are now little sheep - you'll have to wait until March to get a chance to pick up and cuddle some new ones.

Awww. I'm sorry I missed them, and sorry it takes me forever to get back to PMs and Emails. One of these days I swear we will make it up for a Sunday game.

And I was born in 1976. But I don't remember it. given that in 1976 most of the fashion was pretty scary and the disco even more scary, I think it's a good thing , although, who can say what effect disco and ugly sofas did to my developing baby mind.

Young! Saturday Night Fever and Star Wars weren't even out yet! Although I don't have many memories of 1976 that I can peg certainly to that year, I certainly remember those two movies from 1977.

Why not a spellcasting female dwarf or half-orc?
My wife has been hooked on playing dwarves since (for the first time ever)
she tried just being a plain-old dwarf fighter, and loved being waist-deep
in her enemies. Women make brutal, merciless fighters.

And power to '76! (I was born May '76 )
