i am an (ravid) OD&D fan, some would say fanatical :D .

i come here in between timed experiments during my regular work day. i work for the feds at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.

i also visit approximately 12 other sites daily. ;)

this site along with WotC are the two i consider to have the most up to date information about the current trends in the game. i may not like the trends, but i can at least try and get a better understanding of them by reading about them here.

i am currently playing 3.11ed for Workgroups. and over the last 3+ years have been trying to resurrect an OD&D (1974) campaign (my preferred game)

Muffy and Chip are flying down to Hilton Head to join myself a Sweetums for a weekend of polo and golf. We are having Sunday Brunch on the family yacht, and our Chef Jacques is preparing a main entrée of Bordelaise du Boeff with a creamy Epoisse de Bourgogne sauce. What would you recommend for a wine to go with that?

well the Bourgogne sauce already contains a burgundy. and beef is synonymous with reds anyway. so stick with the Red Burgundy.

and you are obviously out to impress but not be showy about it....so i would suggest:

2001 Bonnes Mares, Grand Cru, Domaine Groffier
Price: $115.00

If there would be no more "O" in the alphabet, so you'd actually play D&D (Dungens and Dragns), what would you do to differentiate between OD&D and the heretical new versions?

A fine choice indeed. One complication, Jacques has changed his mind and has decided to now prepare Quail Provencal with a Roquefort Carles sauce on the side instead.
